Description

Human placental microvascular endothelial cells (MVEC) are isolated from term placenta. These cells originate on the fetal side of the placenta and form the microvasculature within the chorionic villi.

MVECPRO2® cells are cultured and characterized under physiologically-relevant oxygen conditions so you can be sure that your studies are powered with cells that retain in vivo like function during in vitro culture.

MVECPRO2 available from the Amnion Foundation are immunopositive for CD31, CD29, and VE-cadherin and confirmed to be competent for tube formation. MVEC & MVECPRO2 vials have 500k cells in each vial and are released after a vigorous QC process.

MVEC and MVECPRO2 are shipped on dry ice. Amnion Foundation ships cellular products Monday through Wednesday via overnight delivery. A dry ice surcharge will automatically be added to purchases of MVEC & MVECPRO2 cells. For bulk orders and pricing please contact us at sales@amnionfoundation.org.
