Human placental microvascular endothelial cells (MVEC) are isolated from term placenta. These cells originate on the fetal side of the placenta and form the microvasculature within the chorionic villi.
MVECPRO2® cells are cultured and characterized under physiologically-relevant oxygen conditions so you can be sure that your studies are powered with cells that retain in vivo like function during in vitro culture.
MVECPRO2® available from the Amnion Foundation are immunopositive for CD31, CD29, and VE-cadherin and confirmed to be competent for tube formation. MVECPRO2 vials have 500k cells per vial and are released after a vigorous QC process.
MVECPRO2® are shipped on dry ice. Amnion Foundation ships cellular products Monday through Wednesday via overnight delivery. A dry ice surcharge will automatically be added to purchases of MVECPRO2® cells. For bulk orders and pricing please contact us at sales@amnionfoundation.org.
