Description
Our disease state cytotrophoblasts are isolated from full term placenta from donors with confirmed disease states. Using our proprietary methods that enable the isolation and propagation cytotrophoblast progenitor cells from full term placenta we are excited to provide these cytotrophoblasts to the research community as a non-controversial resource for these valuable cells.
Cytotrophoblasts (CTBPRO2®) available through the Amnion Foundation are immunopositive for CD49f and express both the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and cytokeratin 7 (CK7). They also secrete human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in culture.
CTBPRO2 vials have 500k cells in each vial and released after a vigorous QC process.
