Description
Human Keratinocytes (KERPRO2™) are isolated from fully consented donors less than 16 years of age and enriched for expression of Integrin alpha-6/beta-4. KERPRO2 cells are available from healthy donors and corresponding full-thickness tissue paraffin embedded tissue sections for histological assessment and snap frozen tissues are available for each donor.
Keratinocytes are released after vigorous quality control testing for sterility, endotoxin, mycoplasma, cell density and viability as well as confirmation of phenotype via flow cytometry confirming expression of EPCAM and Cytokeratin 5.
